Dr. Kaela Navarro is a native Texan.

She completed her Bachelor's and Master of Science in Biochemistry in Texas and received her DVM from Michigan State in 2019. She spent 4 years in California working in the specialized care and regulations protecting research animals.

Her household consists of two cats, her kiddo and her husband. In her spare time she likes to travel and read; her most notable visit has been to the "post office at the end of the world", the last post office in South America before Antarctica.
